Someone shared this recipe months ago on facebook, and I finally got around to trying it. My finished product didn't have sesame seeds added, but it still didn't disappoint!
- Prep Time:
- Cook Time:
- Servings: 6-8
Ingredients
- (2 lbs) Beef Stew Meat
- (1 tablespoon) Sesame oil
- (4) Garlic cloves, minced
- (1/2 cup) Honey
- (1/2 cup) Bragg's liquid aminos
- (1/2 cup) Ketchup
- (1/2 teaspoon) Dried oregano
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
Add the sesame oil to a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add the stew beef and cook until nicely brown on each side. It's not necessary to cook the beef all the way through, just browning on the outside.
Put the beef in the slow cooker.
Combine the garlic, honey, ketchup, Bragg's aminos, and oregano together and pour over the meat in the slow cooker, stirring to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the beef is tender.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
