Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- (2 lbs) Ground Lamb
- (3 medium) Onions, chopped
- (1 lb bag) Mixed Vegetables
- (2 1/2 lbs) Potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
- (4 oz) Cream cheese
- (1 Tablespoon) Parsley, dried
- (4 Tablespoons) Butter
- (2-3 Tablespoons) McCormick's Gravy Maker
- (1 cup) Shredded cheese
Directions
Gently boil peeled and cubed potatoes until soft for mashing. Save potato water for adding to the meat mixture.
Mash potatoes, adding cream cheese, butter and parsley.
Saute' onions in a little butter, remove from skillet.
Brown meat. Add onions back into pan after the meat is cooked.
Add frozen mixed vegetables.
Add 1 cup (potato) water.
Mix 2-3 Tablespoons McCormick's Gravy Maker in some cold water to dissolve. Add this to the meat and veggie mixture. Heat to boiling to thicken gravy.
Put meat mixture in a large casserole dish.
Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top of potatoes.
Broil in oven a few minutes. WATCH CLOSELY, because the cheese will brown quickly.
