A delicious twist on the classic pot roast!
- Prep Time:
- Cook Time:
- Servings: 8
Ingredients
- (3-4 lbs) Beef Arm Roast
- (1 cup) beef stock or broth
- (1/2 cup) balsamic vinegar
- (1 tablespoon) Worcestershire sauce
- (1 tablespoon) soy sauce or Bragg's aminos
- (1 tablespoon) honey
- (1/2 teaspoon) red pepper flakes
- (4) cloves garlic, chopped
- rice, cooked
Directions
This recipe calls for beef stock or broth. You can buy some in a pinch, but if you want to step up your game and/or skimp nothing on flavor, we offer stock bones and you can make your own. Store it in the freezer in smaller containers for quick easy access to nutrient-dense immune-boosting broth for many recipes!
And now for the Balsamic Beef Roast:
- Place roast into the crockpot. In a 2-cup measuring cup, mix together all remaining ingredients. Pour over roast beef and cook 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
- Once roast beef has cooked, remove bone and break apart lightly with two forks and then ladle about 1/4 – 1/2 cup of sauce over roast beef.
- Serve over cooked rice (I prepared 1 cup uncooked rice).
